Mock exam rewrite

The movie creates sexist ideals with the men in the office with agent Carter making sexist remarks such as the close-up on the man saying the war is over leave it up to the men now signify that as a woman she can’t do military actions. This is also signified when all the men leave the office and they asked agent Carter to do paperwork for them. And when agent Carter intercepts the call and the call asked for 3 to 5 men, and she scratches it out and goes by herself, showing that these sex remarks mean nothing as when she got to the area. The characters on the inside were completely underwear and underestimated what agent Carter was going to do. The scene after Steve’s crash landing one year later or agent Carter is now a military desk, lady and eager to put her skills to use when the big loud red alarm then a phone call right after about a character called “the zodiac“ and then a close sub shot showing “zodiac” stamped on a paper in red Text highlights the missing scene of red color, signifying danger. Then they use of low-key lighting after all the guys leave the office in the dark colors to create a sense of mystery when agent Carter intercepts a phone call with the long shot and using rule of thirds to highlight her being alone in a dark room while important call is happening, making the audience more interested in what’s going to happen. Also, the use of non-digenetic sounds in the beginning make the scene have more of an impact creating more emotions of sadness and grief when Steve is about to crash land. And using these non-sounds to a mystery in the event where agent Carter is alone in the room. The scene where agent Carter goes to the area explain on the phone call uses low-key lighting following agent Carter up to the building and one guy on the inside tells two guys to go deal with her and not taking the situation seriously as she is just an alone woman and being distracted while a scene using focus pull the audience attention towards what is happening outside showing agent Carter beating up the two men outside. Carter’s use of red lipstick and her direct language showing what she wants and showing that she is highly capable as when the guy asked her to do the reports today, she said “how about yesterday” handing him the reports as he scuffs and walks. Even from the beginning when Asian Carter seems to be in a room control where Steve is crash landing, showing that she’s fully capable of being in a serious situation and the following scenes after help show representation of sexist remarks in the scene and her being able to beat these stereotypes. And the use of technical elements conveys meaning to make the audience cheer for Agent Carter.

Title Sequence Final

The font we chose to use was shlop because it seems scary and horror themed which is the direction our Opening sequence heads towards. We made sure that the actual title of the movie was red to resemble a bloody name to create a creepy and scary vibe. The credits role one name at a time by what service and/or acting was done by that person. We came to this decision because we wanted to highlight the font and style of the title sequence text to catch the vibe of the opening sequence better after it finished. We chose this because in the end this style and font captures what we imagined the opening sequence to give off it was meant to be creepy and install fear.
