COSTUMING

 We choose to wear doctor scrubs for the surgery scene as it fits the setting during the scene and all characters will be wearing doctor scrubs for the hospital scene as it'll match the standards of a surgery room in real life. and for all the scenes in the forest we will be wearing the same scrubs just beat up from the multiple days between the surgery scene and the doctor walking in the forest to give off a sense that the surgeon has been withered both physically and mentally. This is because we want the audience to tell that the doctor was going through something in the days between each scene to highlight the effect that the surgery scene had on him. The character at the end will be wearing an all black fit with a ski mask to hide their face as they do not want to be caught for the actions they intended on taking.

I didn't like the ending, the sudden stop and no real emotion conveyed on the characters face felt off not really making me want to know what happens further. The mis en scene of the opener also didn't feel right. nothing seemed confusing the opener was straight forward and easy to understand. peer review evaluation

This week, my group went over the peer reviews written by our classmates to asses their feedback and determine if there are any suggestions we'd like to implement into our final cut.  Peer review #1 (by Johansen Rey) :https://johansenrey.blogspot.com/2025/04/title-sequence.html  My favorite part of this opening sequence is definitely the ending and the editing done while the surgeon rips his face mask. It reveals a man who is clearly disturbed and this is also accomplished by the tilt shot that shows the blood squirting on him. The editing was great and the grey filter on the actor makes him look psychotic. I didn’t really like the lighting, it was very bright but I believe that the lighting should’ve been a bit darker. If the film had included some lowkey lighting to help add to the ominous atmosphere of the scene, it would have been better. Mock exam rewrite

The movie creates sexist ideals with the men in the office with agent Carter making sexist remarks such as the close-up on the man saying the war is over leave it up to the men now signify that as a woman she can’t do military actions. This is also signified when all the men leave the office and they asked agent Carter to do paperwork for them. And when agent Carter intercepts the call and the call asked for 3 to 5 men, and she scratches it out and goes by herself, showing that these sex remarks mean nothing as when she got to the area. The characters on the inside were completely underwear and underestimated what agent Carter was going to do.
