COSTUMING

We choose to wear doctor scrubs for the surgery scene as it fits the setting during the scene and all characters will be wearing doctor scrubs for the hospital scene as it'll match the standards of a surgery room in real life. and for all the scenes in the forest we will be wearing the same scrubs just beat up from the multiple days between the surgery scene and the doctor walking in the forest to give off a sense that the surgeon has been withered both physically and mentally. This is because we want the audience to tell that the doctor was going through something in the days between each scene to highlight the effect that the surgery scene had on him. The character at the end will be wearing an all black fit with a ski mask to hide their face as they do not want to be caught for the actions they intended on taking.

Preparing to Film

Actors, I will be playing the doctor in the film, Kobe will be playing the patient in the film and Janelle will be the nurse in the hospital scene. For my costume as the doctor I will be wearing a pair of scrubs and Kobe will be covered by drapes and blankets and Janelle will only be using her voice and she wont need a costume. Props we need a drill(Fake!), snorkel, and a baseball bat. The hospital scene will be in the school (preferably the zen room) and the other scenes will take place in a forest. The film will follow dialogue such as "its been 3 days i cant stop replaying it" "what is wrong with me" "what have you done" and " I know you murdered him". And this will all be filmed on a phone using different camera settings for certain scenes allowing for a better film. Carl will be editing our footage.

Moodboard for Opening Sequence

The mood I would like to capture is a dark /mysterious I want to make the audience feel confused on how the main character feels in the situation and curious to know further about what happened in his situation. The atmosphere should be have a tint of dark almost like a late sunset as we see the main character further envelope himself into his situation as it progressively gets darker and in the other hospital scene I want to make sure the setting gives the ambient sense of a hospital/surgery room and allows for the characters emotions to be highlighted to capture the main point/theme that the opening scene intends to deliver

View Other Students Work

Dare to Thrill #1  The video used music in the majority of the screen time had use of  low key lighting and not a lot of dialogue more so letting the wide shots and close ups on the car do the story telling the ending scene using the trunks POV to make it more mysterious to what the thing was in the truck that scared the kids. The opening scene definitely establish what is going on with the use of mis en scene to create a setting of thrill and black colors make the scene feel more mysterious and daring and living up to its title Always watching #2  The use of close ups definitely capture the heavy emotions on the character and the mis en scene of a therapist place definitely made me more interested and using the down lighting in the mirror and transitioning from him to his friend was interesting it helped me understand how much the character wanted to be his bestfriend and use of lowkey lighting and red color highlights capture the emotion of the characters  it...
